Work to insulate and install air-tightness membranes in the loft space at no. 3 Passfield Drive have been delayed on site due to a delay in the delivery of the Heat Recovery Ventilation unit (HRV). The HRV unit and the associated duct work must be installed in the loft space before sealing the loft access by installing the last layer of insulation and making good the final seals to the air-tightness layer. The contractor took the decision to open the side of the roof temporarily, which has acted as a useful access route in and out of the loft while this work has taken place.
